A residential developer engaged Bryant Consultants to peer review and provide comments on the geotechnical report for a subdivision after the Colorado Geologic Survey criticized the geotechnical report. Bryant’s peer review consisted of
- Evaluating the geotechnical borings and estimates of potential soil movement at the site,
- Analyzing the stability of the proposed slope designs, and
- Performing a liquification analysis to determine how moisture would interact with the soils at the site.
Following Bryant’s recommendations and analysis, the geotechnical engineer revised its report, and the report was then approved by the Colorado Geologic Survey.
